Perilous Times Signify The Season of Jesus' Return (Videos)

Much of what I concentrate on here with this blog is Bible prophecy.  I cannot stress enough how that we are living in the last days as the Bible tells us according to its prophecies.  It is important to realize this and that the Lord's return is imminent so that we may be found blameless and ready when He returns.

"Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ."  -  1 Corinthians 1:8

For the most part today, the following two videos will do most of the commentary.   Both videos are from prophecywatchers.com , featuring Gary Stearman.  Below is a 12 minute clip with guest David Reagan, in which they discuss the season of the Lord's return and also how America is provoking the Lord and that , as Mr. Stearman says, "The world is living on borrowed time."

The following 22 minute video is an interview with Gary Stearman concerning the signs of the times in general as well as the "insanity of the Middle-East."  They quote 2 Timothy 3 concerning the perilous last days and the end times signs spoken of in those first few verses and it is a very enlightening discussion of interest to all persons.   Mr. Stearman also quotes James 5:3 where it says that "your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you....".   Everyone is saying today that as long as you deal with gold and silver, you will be alright.   Not so.

In the video directly above, they also discuss the Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster a few years back.   That is of particular interest to me, especially living in the middle of the Pacific ocean here in Hawaii.  The ocean here and on the west coast of the American mainland is definitely contaminated, meaning so are its  fish.  It is unbelievable the amount of radiation still pouring into the ocean all this time later; it is a disaster with no fix in sight.   You can Google it for more information.  A year ago I wrote a post concerning the dangers now present from contamination still spilling out of Fukushima.  Here is that link.   There is also a You Tube video at that link concerning the nuclear power plant meltdown.

This all may seem like doom and gloom to the unsaved people of the world,  but to believers in Jesus Christ it means we have a hope of soon being with the Lord for all eternity.   Our blessed hope!  (Titus 2:13).

Let's face reality, things cannot continue to escalate without all hell breaking loose.   And it will do so soon in the 7 year tribulation period.  Read the Bible book of Revelation for all the wrath of God that will be poured out upon ungodly people left on earth during that time.  Much of the earth and the water will be destroyed as well.

Believers,  look up !

Jesus is coming for us soon to rapture us to be with Him forever!

Believers will not face the wrath of God during the Tribulation for we will not be on earth at that time, having been taken to heaven before the Tribulation begins.

"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;"  -  Titus 2:13

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 tells us,  concerning the Rapture of true believers to heaven,  "(16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  (17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (18) Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

When we see all the evil in the world, and the very real dangers and the threat of nuclear war, we need to realize the Lord will return soon and then we will be with Him in our new home.  That is, indeed, comforting to think about.

If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Savior and put your faith and trust in Him,  do not delay !!

Tomorrow may be too late to do so, as the Lord could return at any moment !

"(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)"   -   2 Corinthians 6:2

To be saved, you must believe with your whole heart and mind and spirit that Jesus Christ is the Savior and that He died and shed His blood so that all who believe and put their trust in Him can have eternal life.   You must sincerely repent of all your sins and ask for forgiveness and surrender to Him and put your faith in Him.

Romans 10:9-10, 13 says,  "(9)  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."   -  John 3:3

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me."    John 14:6

"Casting All Your Care Upon Him" (With Sermon By A.W. Tozer) - Inspirational Weekend

"Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you."  -  1 Peter 5:7

The above Scripture is very comforting and a reminder that the good Lord cares for all of His children.    When it says "Casting all your care", it means to take all of your "anxieties" to the Lord, "cast" them to Him, which takes effort and is not easy to do.  And then do not take all your cares right back upon yourself once again and bear the burden alone.  Leave them with the Lord, and have faith that He will take care of them for you -  All of them.

It should be mentioned that before you can cast all of your anxieties on God, you must first have confessed all known sin and been repentant and thereby have a clear conscience in order to cast your cares on the Lord and then to expect Him to help you; to take the burden off of you and onto Himself.   First you must feel Him to be a reconciled and loving Father.  If there is any unconfessed sin in your life, you will probably not even cast your anxieties and burdens upon Him.

God never told us that we shall never have anxieties; they are a part of this fallen world in which we live.   And this fallen world is a cause for anxieties in itself.   Right now we have the threat of nuclear war looming over us, and many other fears as well in this evil and lawless and cold world.   We need to take all of our concerns to the Lord in prayer.  Prayer has a way of putting things in their proper perspective and thereby giving you a peace and the sense that, in the end, everything will be alright.

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."   -  Philippians 4:6-7

Here is a song about casting all your cares upon the Lord:

God loves His children, and constantly thinks about them and wants them to come to Him with all their cares.

"But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me:  Thou art my help and my deliverer; Make no tarrying, O my God."  -  Psalm  40:17

Family, friends, and neighbors may abandon you or neglect you, but God never will !!  "If we are what we should be, we shall never be without a friend as long as there is a God."   This is true if you are a genuine believer in Jesus Christ as your Savior, Lord, and Master.  To all unbelievers, God is waiting to hear from you and for you to give your heart and soul to Jesus in sincere belief in the redemptive power of His shed blood, and to believe that He rose again from the dead.   (Romans 10:9)

Believers, stop and recall how many times God has shown you that He was thinking of you.....in answered prayers, in protecting you from harm, in all His blessings that He has bestowed upon you, and in so many other ways.  And He does this even when we do not think of Him as often as we should.  God's care for His people is always true and always unchanging.  He is always there for us.

Many people who do not trust in the Lord and who do not cast their cares upon Him, go around all glum and fretful, often complaining and being very dissatisfied with life.  They are also fearful of many things. Don't let that be you.   Cast your burdens on the Lord.  (Psalm 55:22).

Believers in Christ have a blessed hope that sustains them and gives them solace (Titus 2:13).  They have the promise of eternal life and of being with the Lord forever.  Their faith in God gives them strength and endurance to face obstacles and to surrender all to the Lord.  Consequently, they do not let anxieties get control over them and make them all fretful and filled with dread.   They have the love of Christ in their hearts, and His many promises of better things to transpire in the future, all of which gives them hope and encourages them to pray about their concerns and to draw ever nearer to the Lord.

Following is a 26 minute sermon by A.W. Tozer on "Casting All Your Cares Upon Him" :

A. W. Tozer became a Christian as a teenager.  He was born in 1897 and passed away in 1963.  He was an American pastor and author.

Have a blessed and Christ-filled weekend !

The Antichrist's Technology (With Video)

"And he [the false prophet] had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed."   - Revelation 13:15  (read also Revelation 13:11-18).

The above Scripture is referring to the false prophet, and the "beast" is referring to the antichrist, which you may read about at Revelation 13:1-10.

Satan, secular power, and religious compromise (or, satan, the antichrist and the false prophet) make up the unholy trinity;  and they join against the cause of God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Tom Horn and Josh Peck and Gary Stearman discuss how the image of the beast might be a form of artificial intelligence in the following fifteen minute video by www.prophecywatchers.com

Although true born-again believers will be raptured to heaven before the antichrist comes on the scene , it is interesting to contemplate on various aspects of that seven-year tribulation period.

They are now in the process of producing brain chips to connect humans to a computer system, an AI .    In the above video they touch on several topics, including how a robot or artificial intelligence could possibly become inhabited by a demon and do some real damage.

These are dangerous and evil times in which we live.  We need to be living godly lives and to be "looking up" and watching for Jesus' return, which is imminent.

Are you ready?

"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;  Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."  -  Titus 2:13-14

"There Is Always Hope" - Inspirational Weekend

There will be no negative headlines in this inspirational post....just calming and assuring Scriptures that are full of hope and better things to come.  Also there is a sermon here on hope by Adrian Rogers.

Hope from a biblical viewpoint is not "wishful thinking" but a "confident expectation".  Hebrews 11:1 tells us, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."  In a sense, hope is also wrapped up in faith.   Without hope, there seems to be no meaning to life. I have mentioned previously how a few years ago (1998) I literally lost everything and my life seemed hopeless.  I know what it means to do without many necessities.  But that is not what I want to dwell on here, except to say that through reading God's Word and prayer and strength from the Lord, He helped me to hang on and gave me a sense of direction and purpose.   A hope.  Meaning. A close relationship with the Lord.

A favorite verse of mine is found at Hebrews 6:19:  "Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the vail;" .

Following is commentary by Albert Barnes on Hebrews 6:19:    "Hope accomplishes for the soul the same thing which an anchor does for a ship.  It makes it fast and secure.  An anchor preserves a ship when the wind blows, and as long as the anchor holds, so long the ship is safe, and the mariner apprehends no danger.  So with the soul of the Christian.  In the tempests and trials of life, his mind is calm as long as his hope of heaven is firm.  If that gives way, he feels that all is lost."  Regarding the phrase "And which entereth into that within the vail", Barnes continues :  "The allusion to the "anchor" is dropped, and the apostle speaks simply of hope.  The "veil" here refers to what in the temple divided the holy from the most holy place.  The place "within the veil" - the most holy place - was regarded as God's special abode - where He dwelt by the visible symbol of His presence.  That holy place was emblematic of heaven, and the idea here is, that the hope of the Christian enters into heaven itself; it takes hold on the throne of God; it is made firm by being fastened there.  It is not the hope of future riches, honors, or pleasures in this life - for such a hope would not keep the soul steady; it is the hope of immortal blessedness and purity in the world beyond."

Following is a sermon by Adrian Rogers on how to have a steadfast hope in a shaky world.

The most important thing we can do to hang on during trials and hardships is to keep our eyes on the things above and not on earthly, worldly things and the chaos in our troubled world.   As  Colossians 3:1-2 tells us:  "(1) If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. (2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth."

Also we need to keep looking in expectation for the return of our Lord.   That gives hope.  It also inclines believers to purify themselves, to live a godly life now so as to be found "blameless" when Jesus comes again to take us to heaven.   ( 1 John 3:3)

'Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ ."  - Titus 2:13

Truly it is a blessed hope and we should always be looking for Jesus' return. And to tell lost souls about it and the Gospel of Christ.

So when the world is falling apart, turn to the Lord for hope and encouragement.  The power of the Holy Spirit will produce joy and peace within you

Enjoy the following nature video and have a Christ-centered weekend.

"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit."  -  Romans 15:13
