Remember pleasures such as enjoying beautiful gardens instead of being cooped up indoors? Well, some good news was published yesterday, Sunday, April 12, 2020. Let us pray that it comes true. Earlier on this blog information was posted about Bill Gates (you know, the one who wants to reduce the world's population) and how he proposes to give mandatory vaccines to the entire world to supposedly stop this coronavirus; this blog reported that that vaccine would alter your DNA and perhaps be a precursor to the Mark of the Beast mentioned in the Bible at Revelation 13. Beware of that vaccine of his.... it also is a tracking method on citizens, as a sermon by J.D. Farag warned us, and which was recently posted to this blog as well. Or go to You Tube and enter "J D Farag" and you will see several informative Bible prophecy updates by him about the virus and also much info concerning the end times we are now a part of.
Below is the 6 minute news video on what this administration is pushing back against:
Put your hope and faith in the good Lord and not in any man or in any government!
Governments are beneficial and even necessary, of course. No problem with that. The meaning is, that if you are a True Believer in Jesus, you will put Him and God First in your life. Do not go against God's Holy Word for any reason. This will especially apply to those who are left behind (after the Rapture to heaven of Christ's sincere and faithful followers) to face the 7 year Tribulation period and during that time of tribulation they become true believers. They do not want to follow the Antichrist for any reason. To do so will damn them to hell.
"Then Peter and the apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men." - Acts 5:29
Keep praying!
Stay close to the good Lord by much Bible reading and study as well as prayer.
God wants to fellowship with us. He desires a close, intimate, personal, and loving interaction with us.... through His Son Jesus, the Savior. By doing so, your love and faith in the Lord will grow and grow and your fear will not consume you; your anxiety will not control you as you ponder all the evil and chaos in today's world. You will learn to trust the Lord and to look to Him for peace and guidance. Wonderful advice in the Bible is to learn to "Wait on the Lord". There are several Scriptures that give that advice, but here is one I have hung on to for several years :
"Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: Wait, I say, on the LORD ." - Psalm 27:14
If you are a true believer in the saving power of our Redeemer and of His shed blood at Calvary, you have a hope that will sustain you through these trials prevalent today. Remember, if all that is happening now points to the fact that the 7 year Tribulation is near, with all of the precursors occurring right now mentioned in the Bible concerning the Trib. , then think how close the Rapture by Jesus of the true believers must be.... the Rapture happens before the Tribulation.
"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ." - Titus 2:13
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father. but by Me." - John 14:6
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
It is important that you watch a 39 minute prophecy update by Pastor J.D. Farag, which was posted yesterday, Sunday, April 5. The update is subtitled "Global Crisis - Biblical Answers"
Please go to You Tube and enter "J D Farag" and look for the video by him posted on April 5.
Some of what Pastor Farag tells us in this video is similar to what was written in my blog post of March 30, 2020. Scroll down to view my post there. In his video of April 5, Pastor Farag goes into much more detail than my blog post did. He explains that this mandatory vaccine for coronavirus is also a tracking method on all citizens of the world. And in my post on this blog 3-30-20, I said that this covid 19 vaccine would alter your DNA. Other sources have expressed that perhaps it would make you like part human , part cyborg. (This might especially be true of the Mark of the Beast in the tribulation period mentioned in the Bible at Revelation 13). I am not saying this speculation is true ! I have not researched that "Chatter" concerning being part cyborg, so do not think of me as being irresponsible if this is not true. (Love you guys!) Just repeating what some believe to give you a better idea of what talk is going around. Do some research on your own about this mandatory vaccine. On the Web, enter "ID 2020 Alliance Chip" for starters. Lots of info there.
I highly recommend that you also watch Pastor Farag's video of April 2, 2020, in which he poses the question "Will life ever be normal again?" That 27 minute video follows:
Things look rather bleak right now ..... but God !
Read your Bibles, pray without ceasing, and have faith that the Heavenly Father will see you through all of the calamities facing the world today.
For true believers, they realize that all that is happening right now fulfills Bible prophecy and Jesus will return soon! We do not know the day or the hour, but no one can deny that it must be near when they consider all the catastrophes occurring now -- a convergence all at once of events that fulfill Bible prophecy. God is shaking the earth to get our attention! It is a wake up call !
If you have not yet believed in Jesus, and that He is the Savior and the only way to heaven, please do so now! What follows the Rapture of the Church is a 7 year Tribulation period of horrendous plagues, natural disasters, and more ..... and all because God will be pouring out His wrath upon wicked mankind on the earth at that time. You do not want to be here then! You need to read the Bible book of Revelation to comprehend more fully what will occur during the Tribulation. If you think things are bad now with the coronavirus and other catastrophes happening all across the globe, compared to the 7 year Tribulation and what occurs during that time, ... it will make today look almost like a picnic !
To be saved, you need to understand that you are a sinner, and in need of a Savior. (Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23)
Next, you must believe in your heart....all of your very being... that Jesus is the Savior and that His shed blood at Calvary paid the price for your sin debt (He took our place there on the cross... He took on all of the sins of the world) - Romans 10:9,10,13
Then, call on the name of Jesus, confess that He is the Savior (Romans 10:9,10,13)
Believe in Jesus with all your heart and soul - all of you ! Please realize that we are NOT referring to head knowledge; an intellectual belief. That will not save you. It has to be with your heart....so much so that you will be transformed and renewed in your mind and your life will reflect that miracle of salvation. See Romans 12:1-2 and 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Romans 10:9,10,13 tells us: (9) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." - John 14:6 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." - Jesus at Luke 21:28
The title of this article above - "The power that banishes fear" - is from what Dr. David Jeremiah tells us in the following 13 minute sermon clip:
Dr. Jeremiah tells us that we can "either pray or worry", and that "our minds should be totally on God." Watch the video for the solution that banishes fear.
Many people the world over are now experiencing fear because of the pandemic. This post will focus on ways to help us to cope instead of focusing on the virus itself.
"With the power of God within us, we need never fear the powers around us." - Woodrow Kroll
"You and I cannot change or control the world around us, but we can change and control the world within us." - Warren Wiersbe
"Fear cannot get a stronghold in the heart of someone who's full of the vision and the Majesty of God." - David Wilkerson
"Life makes many an attempt to take away our faith. Things happen to us and and to others which baffle our understanding: Life has its problems to which there seems no solution and its questions to which there seems no answer; life has it's dark places where there seems to be nothing to do but hold on. Faith is always a victory, the victory of the soul which tenaciously maintains its clutch on God." - William Barclay
Christians have a hope that strengthens them and helps them to endure:
"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ." - Titus 2:13
Concentrate on what is the true center of Christian Life.
"If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on the things on the earth." - Colossians 3:1-2
A wonderful verse to apply here is found at Nehemiah 8:10 b ".... For the joy of the Lord is your strength."
It is true that Christians can feel fear and worry and anxiety, but we should not let it take control of us. Those feelings should be temporary as we should place our hope and trust in the good Lord.
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7
Psalm 62:5-8 assures us, (5) "My soul, wait thou only upon God; For my expectation is from Him. (6) He only is my rock and my defense: I shall not be moved. (7) In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. (8) Trust in Him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us."
The above verse was used in a devotion by Charles Spurgeon, and following is a partial quote from a portion that devotional.
"Our heavenly Father sends us frequent troubles to try our faith. If our faith be worth anything, it will stand the test...... A faith which can say "though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him", (Job 13:15) is heaven-born faith.
"Tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope" (Romans 5:3). The Lord is honored by these growing virtues" says Spurgeon. "The wisdom and power of the Great Workman are discovered by the trials through which His vessels of mercy are permitted to pass. Present afflictions tend also to heighten future joy. ...... Will not the recollection of past sufferings enhance the bliss of the glorified?"
When we are in heaven, there will be peace and harmony and much love. We need to endure to the end. The best way to endure is to have a close, intimate, loving, personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, His Son. How do we do this? Many of you know it is by prayer without ceasing and much time spent in the Bible, the Holy Word of God. By doing those two things, you will learn more about God and Jesus, and your love for them will grow and blossom and develop into something beautiful and eternal.
Remember that song, "This world is not my home?" We need to remind ourselves of that when we get caught up in day to day living and cares and worries. And now, we have much chaos and evil in this old world, and all that is on everyone's mind now is the recent pandemic. Just remember, this world is passing away but he who does the will of God will remain forever (1 John 2:17).
Here is a version of the song mentioned above, sung by Jim Reeves.
Bible prophecy is being fulfilled right now at warp speed. Not only on a daily basis, but even minute by minute some new conflict or development proves that we are living in the end times and that Jesus will soon return to Rapture true believers to heaven before the 7 year Tribulation begins. Friends, many things happening today were prophesied concerning the Tribulation period.... they are right now precursors to the Trib. .... we are not in the Tribulation now, but we are ever so close to it according to the Bible. It is like God is shaking and stirring up things in an endeavor to wake up as many people as He can and thereby have them turn in faith to Jesus as the Savior before it is too late. If you are not saved by faith in Jesus as the Savior, Who is the only way to the Father and to heaven, following are some Scriptures to encourage you to surrender to the redeeming power of Jesus :
Romans 10:9,10,13 tells us (9) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believeth in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son, shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." - John 3:36
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by Me." "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. Believest thou this?" - John 11:25, 26
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
Have a blessed and Christ centered weekend - and life !!
In my recent last post, there is a link to how the ex-British Prime Minister is calling for a "temporary" One World Government. Here is that link again:
For those who study Bible prophecy and for Christians who love the Lord, this is good news in the sense that we know we are now living in the last moments of the end times (not the end of the world itself) and that soon the good Lord will Rapture us to heaven. The Bible speaks of this One World Government in Revelation 13, for one example.
(16) "And he [the beast, the antichrist] causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: (17) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (18) Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." - Revelation 13:16-18
Please read all of Revelation 13. Also, Revelation 17 and 18; Revelation 17 speaks of the One World (false) Religion, and chapter 18 informs us concerning the economic aspect of the New World Order during the Tribulation. If possible, please read all of the book of Revelation. It is the only book wherein is the promise that you will be blessed by it:
"Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." - Revelation 1:3
Note: with this pandemic, they are saying that the virus can be spread on cash money, and want to move soon to a cashless society. This is perfect proof that the antichrist system is near; the Tribulation period. For the antichrist (as in Revelation 13) uses a "mark" for people to buy and sell.
There is a lot of "chatter" about the ID 2020 alliance vaccine. It will be mandatory for all people to take it soon. Not Good!! It will alter your DNA . Many believe it is the precursor to the mark of the beast. There is more to it which is disturbing! Please do research on the Internet concerning this. I hesitate to suggest a particular article or video about this. However, the information is true concerning this mandatory vaccine. Bill Gates is heavily promoting this vaccine, and is also funding it.
A recent study by Iceland scientist supposedly discovered that there are 40 mutations of this Coronavirus. True? Maybe, maybe not.
There is also much chatter concerning that this coronavirus is made to be more of a big deal than it truly is. It is true that it is dangerous and deadly, especially to the elderly and for those with serious health issues and a low immune system. However, many believe that the number of cases are exaggerated, and that this crisis is being used to help bring about the chaos and panic needed for the antichrist and the New World Order to begin.
Just saying.
Christians know Who we can believe and Who we can turn to !
The Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ!
"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit." - Romans 15:13
"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." - 2 Corinthians 4:6
Jesus assures us at John 10:27-29, (27) "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: (28) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. (29) My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand."
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." - Jesus at John 14:27
For those who are not believers - have not surrendered to Jesus in faith and that have not believed that His death at Calvary paid our sin debt in full (Jesus took our place and took upon Himself all the sins of the world) - you will have to face the horrors and devastation and wrath of God during the 7 year Tribulation which is soon to occur. All you have to do right now is to believe that Jesus is the Savior, that He died, and was buried and then was resurrected. Believe that His redemptive work at the Cross will wash away your sins and make you clean in the sight of God.... because God sees you as clean through the shed blood of His Son Jesus - once you become a true believer in the Savior.
Unbelievers need to admit that they are sinners, and in need of a Savior (Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23)
They need to believe in their heart that Jesus is the Savior (Romans 10:9-10)
They need to call on Jesus and confess that He is the Savior and the Son of God. (Romans 10:13)
Salvation is not difficult. It just takes a strong heart felt belief that Jesus, and Him only, can save you and give you eternal life.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." - John 14:6
Romans 10:9,10,13 tells us, (9) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
Believers, rejoice!
Jesus is at the very door!
"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." - Jesus at Luke 21:28
The title of this article "Is this the end of the world?" is a quote from one of the following videos. Pastor J.D. Farag says that many unsaved people are asking that question right now. If more people would read their Bibles, they would know the answer to that soul stirring question. But actually, it takes the Holy Spirit living inside a person to give them understanding of Scriptures and the Spirit only indwells persons who have been saved; in those who believe with all their heart and soul and all their very being that Jesus is the Savior, and that His death at Calvary paved the way for all who believe in Him to be washed clean from their sins, as Jesus paid our sin debt in full when He died.
The world as we know it will end; meaning this age of grace is about to end. Do some research and you will find that after the 7 year Tribulation, Jesus will return and set up His 1000 year kingdom on earth. And after that, eternity with the Lord.
The following 32 minute video by Pastor Farag touches on the coronavirus and how it is an excellent subject for believers to witness to others about Jesus. The Pastor also encourages believers by telling us that God will provide us with what we need.
There will be another video by Pastor Farag live-streamed tomorrow, 3-29-20, Sunday, at 9 a.m. Hawaii time. I will not be posting it here on this blog, so I hope that you will tune in to it on your own initiative on You Tube. Just enter "J D Farag " there and it will appear.
"But the Lord is faithful, Who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil." - 2 Thessalonians 3:3
Charles Spurgeon wrote a devotional centered around the verse above in 2 Thessalonians. I will only quote a portion of it below:
".... We are allowed to shelter ourselves in the Lord Jesus. 'Who is in truest sympathy with us.' There is one true Heart, one Faithful Mind, one never changing Love; there let us repose. The Lord will fulfill the purpose of His grace to us, His servants, and we need not allow a shadow of a fear to fatal upon our spirits. Not all that men or devils can do can hinder us of the divine protection and provision . This day let us pray the Lord to stablish and keep us."
In the past, before I knew better, every video sermon by Dr. Charles Stanley that I posted on this blog was deleted. Following is a 25 minute recent audio interview with him which is focused on the coronavirus. It is an encouraging message and I pray that it also does not get deleted (since it is an interview). If it does, then go to You Tube and enter intouchministries.org and look for it there. Actually, it might be best to go to You Tube and enter: Coronavirus: an interview with Dr. Charles Stanley.
As many Bible scholars, pastors, and devout students of the Bible know, this One World Government occurs during the Tribulation period. If the information in the article above is correct in saying that this call right now is "temporary" ................ time will tell.
At any rate, we should realize that the Rapture of the true believers will occur soon, because it happens before the Tribulation.
"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." - Jesus at Luke 21:28
"Much more then, being justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him" - Romans 5:9
Romans 5:9 above is referring to those who are saved by belief in Jesus as the Savior. They will not suffer the wrath poured out by God during the Tribulation because Jesus would have raptured them to heaven prior to that.
"Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation [affliction]; continuing instant in prayer: " - Romans 12:12
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 tells us: (1) "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein ye stand: (2) By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. (3) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; (4) And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:"
Romans 10: 9,10,13 informs us: (9) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." - John 14:6
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Have a blessed and Christ centered weekend - and life !!
The title of this post, "When the Rapture Occurs, What Will Jesus Find You Doing?" is almost a direct quote from one of the videos in this article today. Here is praying that you take the time to watch both videos shown.
Also, for recent important information on the pandemic, scroll down one post to my previous article on the coronavirus which has also included in it many comforting Scriptures to help us to endure.
On account of the recent advice to stay home as much as possible (and in some countries it is mandatory quarantine) because of the coronavirus pandemic, that may be where Jesus will find you when He comes to take His Bride (the Church, true believers) to be with Him in heaven. But the main idea is, hopefully, that Jesus will find you sharing the Gospel and living as holy a life as you possibly can in this imperfect world. ( I am not saying that Jesus will return right now, although it is possible. Only the Heavenly Father knows the day and the hour of Jesus' return. (Matthew 24:36) It would be a good idea if you took the time to read all of Matthew 24)
"According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:" - Ephesians 1:4
"But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." - 1 Peter 1:15,16
Following is an excellent 8 minute sermon clip titled "Jesus is Coming". In this sermon, Pastor David Wilkerson tells us why Jesus has not come yet. There are many gems spoken in this wonderful sermon clip !
One subject in the above video asks the question, "Where is your security?" Hopefully it is in Christ alone !
The other video features Pastor Billy Crone in an interview with Gary Stearman at prophecywatchers.com. In only about 29 minutes they discuss many topics concerning modern technology and also the technology possibly used by the antichrist during the 7 year Tribulation. I found it fascinating to watch this video, and it makes it clear that the Rapture of the true believers must be very, very soon!
Are you Rapture ready?
Have you given your life and heart to the good Lord?
Have you repented of your sins and come to Him with a belief that He is the Savior, and the only way to the Father and heaven?
We are not talking here about intellectual knowledge concerning Jesus. Many unbelievers have a head knowledge that Jesus is the Savior and that He is the Son of God, yet they do not put their faith in Him, as many of them have "pet sins" which they are unwilling to give up and therefore want no part of Jesus, as it would interfere with their wicked lifestyles. We, who turn to Jesus, are to believe that His death on the Cross paid our sin debt in full, and we are forgiven if we surrender our lives to Him. This is a strong, heartfelt belief - a belief with all of your very being - that Jesus alone can save us, and that by our faith and trust in Him, by believing that His death at Calvary, and His shed blood there on our behalf, can wash away our sins.... all of them, past, present, and future. The slate is wiped clean; we are pure in God's sight through Jesus' redemptive work at the Cross. He took on all the sins of the world at His crucifixion. What Love!!
[Beach at Ko Olina Resort, Oahu, Hawaii]
Repent and turn to Jesus in faith and love and gratitude to Him for all He has done for you.
Time is running out!
"(For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)" - 2 Corinthians 6:2
Romans 10: 9.10,13 tells us: (9) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
Jesus is waiting to hear from you!
He will welcome you into the family of God with love and forgiveness !
We all know what is on everyone's mind now - yes, the coronavirus and all of the recent changes in our normal routines. Not much about it has been written on this blog lately, mostly because it was felt that you - the public - were no doubt doing your own research on the latest developments. I have also been - daily - watching the news and reading articles concerning this pandemic.
This post will share recent articles concerning the disease and two short videos as well as some wonderful Scriptures to ease your anxiety and help keep you focused on the good Lord and how He is your refuge and help.
To begin with, here are some Scriptures to soothe your emotions:
"Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid......" - Psalm 112:6-8a
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though the waters thereof roar and be troubled. Though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah" - Psalm 46:1-3
Please read all of Psalm 46 ! In verse 10 of Psalm 46 it admonishes us : "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."
Many Christians are familiar with verse 10 above. And most think it means to be quiet and listen to God. And that is true; however, it was spoken to the nations by God, and "be still" - in Hebrew - most likely means "enough". God wanted the people to look to Him and not attempt to look for security in their own efforts and in their own strength. That is true today as well, for many persons, including professing Christians, say to themselves, "I can handle this," instead of looking to God for help and praying for His guidance.
We should take everything to the good Lord in prayer! Not only now concerning this coronavirus, but take everything - always - to God/Jesus!
"Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you." - 1 Peter 5:7
Following is a link to a recent article (published on 3-17-20):
The article above is titled "Foreshocks of Revelation: One Day Everything Will Be Shaken". The author quotes other Scriptures besides those in the Book of Revelation. Also, in his article he quotes Revelation 6:15-17 which follows:
(15) "And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; (16) And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: (17) For the great day of His wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand?"
The above verses are concerning the things which happen during the 7 year Tribulation period. (Which occurs after the Rapture of true believers; when Jesus comes for them to take them to heaven - again, the Rapture takes place before the Tribulation).
Did you know that some of the elite, the globalists, etc., have recently, because of this coronavirus outbreak, already gone to their underground bunkers for safety? Many if not most of these bunkers in which to ride out such catastrophes as this recent virus, are built inside (and under) mountains! Also, right now, some of these rich people and the elites have opted to go out to sea for safety - no doubt in their private yachts - to escape this recent pandemic. It is very interesting that these mountains that men turn to first for safety during the 7 year Tribulation, that when the Lord comes to smite these wicked unbelievers, they will cry out for the mountains and rocks to fall on them instead, as mentioned in Revelation 6:16. This should make us realize that we are very near the tribulation period - which of course means the Rapture of the Church is ever so near, when Jesus returns before the horrors and destruction and plagues that occur during the Trib.
Here is another article published 3-18-20 that deals primarily with the Coronovirus itself:
In the above recent article, the author gives us 3 bold steps to take now during these troublesome last days of this weary and corrupt world, and just downright evil times.
The best thing we can do now is to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Pray for the healing and the salvation of those who are infected with the coronavirus. Also pray for your family members and for friends, that they stay healthy and free from this virus. We need to witness now like never before about the salvation found only in Jesus Christ. Share the Gospel with great urgency, for soon we (true believers) will leave this chaotic world and be with our Lord in heaven.
Just a note, I have heard that this coronavirus only thrives in cold weather. If this is true, (and it may or may not be true), many are hoping that as the weather warms up, this virus will die out. I live in Hawaii and it has been a very warm winter this year and, as many of you know, it is warm weather here year round. The only cases of this pestilence in Hawaii have been from travelers out of state and out of the country; last I know of, anyway. So far, unless it happened today, I have not heard of any cases of locals living on Oahu, Hawaii, contracting the disease.
Friends, we live in exciting times! Unless we pass away (in death, of course) very soon, we will live to see the imminent return of Jesus at the Rapture of the Church. If you are a true believer and have been born again (a spiritual rebirth from above) you have nothing to fear! God has your back! I do not mean that disrespectfully of our Heavenly Father. He really is watching out for us, and wants the best for us. He is there to guide us and protect us and to remind us of His great love for us.
Give all anxious thoughts and fears to God/Jesus !
Following are two recent very short video clips on the coronavirus by Pastor J.D. Farag. He gives excellent advice for us to consider and act upon. One clip is about 2 minutes in length; the other is about 7 minutes.
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7
"Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; He will come and save you." - Isaiah 35:4
Philippians 4:6-7 tells us: (6) "Be careful [anxious] for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (7) And the peace of God. which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
One commentary on the above verses at Philippians 4:6-7 calls these verses "A Divine Prescription" - meaning prayer, supplication, thanksgiving.
If you are not saved, not a believer in Jesus Christ as the Savior, consider the following Scriptures:
Romans 10:9,10,13 tells us: (9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." - John 3:36
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." - John 14:6
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
Instead of just suggesting that you also read Psalm 91, I will include it here now in its entirety. It is a very special Psalm for everyone - believers and non-believers, for hopefully unbelievers will come to salvation because of the many promises found in Psalm 91. Note how it mentions pestilence.
Verse (1) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (2) I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in Him will I trust. (3) Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler; and from the noisome pestilence. (4) He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. (5) Thou shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; (6) Nor the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. (7) A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. (8) Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. (9) Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; (10) There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. (11) For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. (12) They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. (13) Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. (14) Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known Mine Name. (15) He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honour him. (16) With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation."
Have a blessed and Christ centered weekend - and life !!
