Those who are unrepentant sinners definitely should be afraid of God and His final judgment on them if they do not repent before they die. Also, the Bible tells us that many unbelievers left behind after the Rapture of the Church (Christ's Bride; true believers) will have an opportunity to come to faith in Jesus, the Savior, during the 7 Year Tribulation period which follows the Rapture. But they will do so as a sure guarantee that they will suffer death (by beheading; Revelation 20:4) by the antichrist system and government during the Tribulation.
One verse needed to be shared here is James 2:19: "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble."
Sadly, many unrighteous people today believe there is a God, but they do not even "tremble" like the demons do, because they are so far gone in their wickedness.
Following is an excellent 5 minute sermon clip by deceased Pastor David Wilkerson titled "Fear the Lord"
Some Scriptures in the above sermon are:
"Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil." - Proverbs 3:7
"By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil." - Proverbs 16:6
Fear of the Lord means - for true believers - to have a deep reverence for Him, an awe of Him and of His power and Majesty, a proper respect for Him; which in turn will lead a person to have a great love for Him. "In the Old Testament, they considered a proper fear of God was a token of true piety."
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." - Proverbs 9:10
"Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." - 2 Corinthians 7:1
Psalm 128 is only 6 verses, and it is all about fearing the LORD. Following are verses 1 to 2:
"Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in His ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee."
Below is a 30 minute sermon by Pastor Charles Lawson titled: "Afraid of God". In it, Pastor Lawson tells us that: "If you fear God, it is a good sign that you know Him." Excellent Sermon! Please watch !
Here is another daily devotional by Intouch Ministries (Dr. Charles Stanley). It is a short 2 minute clip, but full of precious thoughts concerning the proper fear of God. It admonishes us to not treat God too lightly - like a "Buddy" of sorts. God/Jesus is your friend, that is true, but we must approach Him with the realization that He is Holy and therefore our fellowship with Him should be filled with honor and respect.
Much has been mentioned on this blog about fellow-shipping with the good Lord. He wants to hear from you! We should spend much time with Him in heartfelt prayer, as well as daily reading of His Holy Word, the Bible. By doing so, you will grow in your love for Him and you will desire to draw ever closer to Him. You cannot fellowship with anyone and get to know them if you never communicate with them. Obviously, the same is true of Almighty God, the Sovereign of the Universe! It is a privilege to be able to commune with Him in prayer! By spending time with the good Lord in Bible Reading/Study and being often in prayer, we will develop a close, personal, loving, intimate, living relationship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ. That is the main goal everyone should desire.
With the world in such a turmoil in these last moments of the last days, and the fact that Jesus could return for His followers at any moment to rapture them to heaven, we should be busy in spiritual endeavors -- doing God's will and sharing the Gospel of Jesus, the Savior ! Don't cling to a dying world!
"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lusts thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." - 1 John 2:15-17
If you are not saved, have not been "born again" ( a spiritual rebirth), then please prayerfully consider the following salvation Scripures.
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." - John 3:36
Jesus is waiting to hear from you!
He loves you!
He will welcome you with open arms to embrace you in His love and forgiveness!
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."John 3:16
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." - John 14:6
Have a blessed and Christ centered weekend - and life !!
First this article will share a powerful and much needed short sermon (10 minutes) by Pastor David Wilkerson which stresses how we should love God and want to spend time with Him. Pastor Wilkerson makes it clear that Jesus will not abide where He is ignored.
Amir Tsarfati recently posted (on January 30, 2020) a very informative and must see video of Middle East affairs - an update - which also features Pastor Barry Stagner and Pastor Jack Hibbs giving their insights along with Amir. It is an hour and 4 minutes long, but you will be glad if you watch it all which follows:
In the above video, they discuss the recent pandemic virus, signs of the end times, the recent President Trump's "Deal of the Century", how the antichrist comes after the Ezekiel 38 war, and much more.
Many Christians are not aware of the fact that approximately 33% of the Bible is prophecy. Bible prophecy and the fact that we are in the last moments of the end times can be a strong tool to wake people up and have them turn to faith in Jesus before it is too late, as the Rapture of true believers could happen at any time now. I am not saying this year or setting a date; Jesus said only the Heavenly Father knows the day and the hour when our Savior will come to take His followers to be with Him in heaven before the horrors of the 7 year Tribulation begin.
You do not want to be here for the destruction, plagues and unbelievable suffering that are part of the Tribulation. Read the book of Revelation !! For more on the Tribulation, go to the search box on the above right side of this page and type in "7 year tribulation" and several articles will appear for you to chose from, many of which have videos with Bible scholars discussing those events.
Although Bible prophecy can wake sleeping sinners up to the reality that there is not much time left in this present age of grace, the best witnessing tool is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with lost souls.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 tells us: (1) "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein ye stand; (2) By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. (3) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; (4) And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: "
Romans 10: 9,10, 13 says: (9) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
As Amir Tsarfati has said, "We are here for a greater cause, to share the Gospel and to help the church to wake up."
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." - Jesus at Matthew 6:33
"Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." - Matthew 7:14
Much has been written on this blog concerning prayer, and following is a powerful sermon by Pastor Charles Lawson on prayer. It will bless you.
"If you find your life of prayer to be always so short, and so easy, and so spiritual, as to be without cost and strain and sweat to you, you may depend on it, you have not yet begun to pray." - Alexander Whyte
"Be careful [anxious] for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." - Philippians 4:6
"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." - Jesus at Matthew 21:22
"Rest in what God says. Do not live by your feelings." - David Wilkerson
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart: And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy path." - Proverbs 3:5-6
Following is another sermon by Pastor Charles Lawson, this time on the subject of faith. I pray you will take the time to watch this 31 minute video.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1
"But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." - Hebrews 11:6
"Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man shall draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him." - Hebrews 10:38
The title of this post is "wake up and shine for Jesus". We need to be awake to the signs of the times; how Bible prophecy is being fulfilled today like never before, proving we are in the last moments of this current dispensation. Go to the search box in the upper right hand side of this page and enter things like "end times", or "the Rapture" and so on for more information on eschatology.
To wake up and shine for Jesus is to put Him first in our life, and to obey Him, and to follow in His footsteps as closely as we are able. We should share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with lost souls, and endeavor to live a life that is becoming to a Christian; a life that reflects Jesus.
Remember what the poem in my previous post said? "Only one life, 'twill soon be past; only what's done for Christ will last."
Romans 10: 9,10,13 tells us: (9) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10)For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" - Romans 3:23
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." - Romans 6:23
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - Jesus at John 3:16
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." - John 14:6
Have a blessed and Christ centered weekend.... and life !!
The following videos impress upon us that we ARE in the last moments of the end times. Since I was around 15 years old, the subject of the last days and how long the world would be here and what was true has intrigued me. My Sunday School teacher back then mentioned something about the year 2000 and one thing led to another and the result was that the Sunday School teacher began to teach on Bible prophecy after that.
Having said all that and also that I have ever since been interested in eschatology --- although I got distracted from it for awhile; it was on my mind often even at the young age of 15 and thereafter, and in High School I wrote short essays about it for my English Class. The good Lord knew back then that I would, in my old age, write about Bible prophecy.
I can honestly say that I have never heard anything to excite me and touch my heart and soul about Jesus' return as much as the following video by Amir Tsarfati. (Except, of course, the Bible itself!) The Rapture of the Church seems even more real to me now than ever before. I never doubted the Rapture all those previous years, but the Holy Spirit impressed upon me even more while watching this video that Jesus is now at the very door! Amir just posted this video yesterday. It is only 36 minutes in length. Don't miss watching it, please!
Just a note to those who are not familiar with this blog, Amir is a Messianic Jew and lives in Israel. He has a thriving ministry and travels the world preaching and teaching about the Gospel and end time prophecy.
Following is a prophecy update by J.D. Farag, a well-known pastor in Hawaii. People all over the world (his online church family) look forward to his Bible Prophecy Update every Sunday. His update was posted on You Tube yesterday as well.
Some Christians are in denial that the Rapture will happen soon, but current events and Bible prophecies being fulfilled at a fast pace today (at warp speed), proclaim loud and clear that Jesus will return any day now. No one knows the day or the hour, but only God the heavenly Father.
Be ready always!
Read your Bible daily and pray daily. That way you will draw close to the good Lord and you will begin to realize a close, intimate, personal, loving and ongoing relationship with God through Jesus Christ, His Son.
Jesus loves you and wants to see you come to a living and vibrant and strong faith and belief in Him as the Savior.
Romans 10:9,10, 13, tells us: (9) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. Believest thou this?" - John 11:25, 26
The lighthouse is sometimes thought of by Christians as a symbol for our Savior, Jesus Christ, as most of you are very aware. It has been mentioned on this blog previously. The trail to this lighthouse is all uphill, but easy to hike for most. It is about a 2 mile round trip.
"Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." - John 8:12
The way of Salvation by belief in Jesus as the Savior, and belief in His Resurrection, is not difficult. A young child can understand salvation.
What is difficult at times is the uphill climb to reach Jesus, so to speak. And once we go through trials, temptations, hardships, and suffering, we must remain on the trail and path to Him and with Him in order to follow Him in faith and follow in His footsteps.
"Order my steps in thy word: And let not any iniquity have dominion over me." - Psalm 119:133
"Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not." - Psalm 17:8
As mentioned in the above Psalm 119, God's Holy Word, the Bible, will help us to understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus. The Bible is God's love letter to us, as well as His instruction manual for us. He speaks to us as we read His written Word and we will appreciate and be grateful to Him and Jesus for their love and guidance and tender mercies. Jesus showed His great love for us by dying in our place and paying our sin debt so that we may gain eternal life by faith in Him.
Talk about encouragement and fellowship: The most important fellowship ever is to be found with our heavenly Father and with Jesus when we read the Bible and pray without ceasing. When we have a close, personal, intimate love relationship with God through Jesus Christ, His Son, He will always be near us to comfort us, encourage us, strengthen us, and we will experience a love like none other. God loves it when we draw near to Him, and He will never abandon us. (Hebrews 13:5; Deuteronomy 31:6)
"He that hath My commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me, and he that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him." - Jesus speaking at John 14:21
What this article is leading up to now is the fact that we need to associate with and have fellowship with other believers. Most of us are familiar with Hebrews 10:24, 25 which follows:
(24) "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: (25) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."
The good Lord takes note of our trust and belief in Him , as well as our actions and our speech.
"Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened , and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon His name." - Malachi 3:16
When Malachi wrote the above, Israel, as usual, was in disobedience to God. But there were these few that feared God who spoke often, no doubt, to each other about the Lord. See how God treats such persons: He paid attention to their words and faith and their hearts and approved of their pure attitude and conversation and a book of remembrance was written.
The good Lord must also be pleased when true believers gather together and speak of Him and Jesus in our church services today, as well as in other gatherings.
We were not meant to be an island, keeping to ourselves.
Remember, when Jesus sent His disciples in His own lifetime to preach the gospel, He sent them out by twos. What the apostles needed in their journeys as preachers, we need equally on our journey through life. We today need the love and encouragement and spiritual support of other believers. I thank the good Lord for my loving church family.
All true believers know all that is mentioned above, but there may be some reading this that never attend church, and need the encouragement to do so.
It is urgent that we encourage one another today, as the world has gotten more evil and corrupt. The good news is that soon Jesus will Rapture His Bride (the Church) to be in heaven with Him.
Most of you are familiar with signs of the end times in which we find ourselves today. We do not know the day or the hour of the Lord's return, but Jesus gave us signs to watch for so that we would know the "season" of His return. Read Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 for these signs.
I wanted to share with you a recent video concerning Bible prophecy by Pastor Jack Hibbs and Don Stewart. They cover current events as it relates to the prophecies in the Bible, and Pastor Jack gives a wonderful concluding prayer at the end. They tell us not to be scared by prophecies, but rather that they are to help you to be prepared. They tell us that Russia just recently has moved super-bombers to South Africa; there is much valuable information in this 1 hour and 29 minute video. I hope you will be able to watch the entire discourse.
"While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light...." - Jesus at John 12:36 a
"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." - 2 Corinthians 4:6
"But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin." - 1 John 1:7
Romans 10:9,10,13 tells us, (9) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Have a blessed and Christ centered weekend.... and life !!
This blog has mentioned many times about the chaotic and dangerous times we live in now. We definitely need to "hang in there" and have endurance to cope with the stress of this evil world, and wondering if a catastrophe like a nuclear war or an economic collapse or such-like could occur any time soon. The world is in an uproar, not knowing the way out.
"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring. Men's hearts failing them in fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken." - Jesus at Luke 21:25-26
If you are a true Christian that reads the Bible daily and that has a strong, personal. close, and intimate relationship with the good Lord, you realize that there is hope for you and that soon Jesus will return to rapture you to heaven before things get worse.... before the dreaded 7 year Tribulation period of God's wrath upon the wicked occurs.
Following is another video by Chad Thomas in which he clearly explains the Rapture of the church and the revealing of the antichrist. I have written much previously on this blog about the things he discusses, but I thought a video would be refreshing for you; plus, it will be beneficial for any first time viewers here.
There are many first time viewers to this blog, and also many who are not saved; who have not been born again; and many who never read the Bible. I am quoting below a familiar verse to many Christians..... a verse that gives us hope and something to look forward to: a rescue from this wicked world and a trip to heaven.
"For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." - 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
(See also 1 Corinthians 15:51-53)
[North Shore, Oahu, Hawaii]
Titus 2:13 says: "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ."
God's Holy Word, the Bible, gives us many encouraging verses to help us to "hang in there." Another benefit of daily Bible reading (and prayer) is you draw ever closer to the good Lord, and as time goes on you learn to love Him more and more, as well as the fact that your faith in Him will also increase.
The Bible gives us much encouragement and helps us to endure trials and hardships. Following is a 34 minute sermon by deceased Pastor Adrian Rogers on the topic of "Learning To Endure".
In the sermon above, Pastor Rogers gives us five truths learned from tests and trials: enjoyment, enlargement, enlightenment, enthronement, enrichment. He explains and gives Scriptures pertaining to these five truths. He has nothing to say in his sermon about end time events or prophecies, but I felt it relevant to our times just the same.
Learn to trust and have faith in God and Jesus, and you will be helped and encouraged beyond what you could ever expect or hope for. The good Lord will help you to endure.
Romans 10:9,10,13 tells us: (9) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Hang in there!
Jesus loves you!
If you are born again, you have a wonderful future in heaven.
Keep looking up !
Keep watching!
Have a blessed and Christ centered weekend ... and life !
Something has gotta give because of the intensity and frequency of the end time's signs: such as the earthquakes, natural disasters, and evil and chaos and violence in these last moments of the end times the Bible warned us about in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21.
Iran is throwing temper tantrums and trying to provoke the USA. Everything is converging all at once and all at the same time as the Bible prophesied about. The world in general, and the political leaders are perplexed and don't know the way out of all this mess.
"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken."
- Luke 21:25-26
Following is a 33 minute video posted by Chad of Watchman On The Wall 88 in which he gives an excellent coverage of current events and the "birth pangs" happening in the end times. Please watch :
Now, I no longer want to dwell on the negative in this article. We cannot bury our head in the sand and pretend that the times are not serious and that events are not about to explode, but yet we need a balance and we need to look for the good. As Jan Markell has said, "things are not falling apart, they are falling into place." God is still in control and we need to look to Him for guidance, strength, and endurance. The good Lord foretold all these end time events. Therefore, the positive side of all this chaos is that we know that Jesus will be returning soon for His Bride - the true believers whom He will rapture to heaven to be with Him forever.
Now that is good news!
[Hibiscus]
Yes, true believers have a glorious hope, a future in heaven with the good Lord.
"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;" - Titus 2:13
"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand." - Jesus at John 10:28-29
Are you rapture ready?
Have you been spiritually born again by putting your faith and trust in Jesus, the Savior?
If not, then you have no blessed hope. Your eternity will be spent in hell forever. By not choosing to believe in Jesus, then by doing nothing, you are still making a choice.
Being saved and becoming a child of God is not difficult. It does require faith in Jesus.
Admit you are a sinner and in need of a Savior.
Believe in Jesus and in the redemption provided by His shed blood on the cross. He took our place there at Calvary; He paid our sin debt in full. He was the sacrificial lamb.
Call on the name of the Lord. Confess your sins; commit your life to Jesus; surrender all to Him.
Then you shall be a child of God; a member of His family forever.
Jesus loves you more than you will ever know or comprehend.
He will welcome you with arms wide open in love and forgiveness.
Will you turn to Him in faith? It will mean eternal life with the Lord forever!
Romans 10:9,10,13 tells us: (9) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10)For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." - John 14:6
"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. Believest thou this?" - John 11:25-26
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
Have a blessed and Christ centered weekend..... and life !!
There must be a reason why I focus on the Rapture of the Church so often. For one thing, it is a blessed hope and assurance for true believers in the Savior Jesus Christ. (Titus 2:13). For another reason, the Rapture is imminent, which means it could happen at any time. We do not know the day or the hour, but Jesus gave us signs for us to know when we are in the "season" of His return. Read Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 for these signs. We are definitely in the season of the Lord's return right now because so many signs of it are converging all at once now in this last "hour" of the end times we find ourselves living in.
Why am I posting another video on the Rapture ? This video stands out because so many facts are presented in it -- in one video - that have been discussed by various scholars in a variety of sources. This video by prophecywatchers.com with host Gary Stearman interviewing Dr. David Reagan is jam packed with lots of nuggets to digest concerning the history of the Rapture view in centuries past and so much more. Lots of information in this 29 minute video will keep your interest.
In the description area of this video on You Tube, it says: "The Apostle Paul described the Rapture as a mystery. Today, almost 2,000 years later, it is still a mystery to many Christians."
One thing brought out in the above video is the thought that satan does not want us to have hope. To not believe in the Rapture is to have no hope.
They also discuss the fact that the word Rapture is in the Bible. In Greek it is Harpazo and in the Latin Vulgate Bible it is Rapio, or Rapturo, where we get the English "Rapture". This is brought out in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 where the English words "Caught up" occur.
I have written about how the word Rapture is in the Bible on other occasions. One article was written on October 10, 2017, which includes another video by prophecywatchers.com featuring Jeff Kinley. It discusses the future of America and is well worth your time to watch as it is only 29 minutes long.
You are if you are a born again true believer in the Savior Jesus Christ!
What if you are not saved? You have no blessed hope. You will face God's wrath.
What to do then?
Admit you are a sinner and in need of a Savior.
Believe in Jesus Christ and in the redemption He provided by His shed blood on the Cross. He was our substitute. He bore our sins so that if we but believe on Him, we may gain eternal life.
Call on the name of the Lord. Commit your life to Him. Confess your sins in true repentance.
Jesus will welcome you to the family of God with wide open arms of love and forgiveness !
The good Lord has made it simple for us to be saved. A child can understand it. But man makes it complicated by not wanting to give up secret and "favorite" sins. Man can get quite comfortable and set in his ways and not want to give up whatever vices he may be guilty of.
Friends, just surrender to the good Lord with all of your heart and trust Him to help you to change through the power of the Holy Spirit. If your heart is right, He will mold you into a new Creation.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are past away; behold, all things are become new." - 2 Corinthians 5:17
Time is short.
We are living in the last moments of the end times.
I had originally meant to do research on another subject, but for some reason I have been listening over and over to a certain hymn these last few days. Every morning at the beginning of my Bible study, I always listen to several hymns on You Tube before I read and study and journal on a Bible Scripture or two. Following is a beautiful rendition of that hymn: "I know who holds tomorrow"; please listen carefully to the lyrics - there is a powerful message there.
In this chaotic and upset world we are living in..... in the trials and hardships and worries and sorrows..... in the dread of what the future holds or might hold (like perhaps a nuclear world war) ; we need to look to the One Who holds tomorrow.... to the only One Who can help us and save us.
We need Jesus. Those of us who are saved and washed white as snow in the Lamb's shed blood at Calvary, the true Shepherd Who guides us and cherishes us, .... We have nothing to fear if we are born again believers. We have a blessed hope (Titus 2:13), and that is that soon Jesus will return to take us to Heaven to be with Him, before the wrath of God is poured out on the earth and on ungodly men during the 7 year Tribulation period.
I have written much about the Tribulation in previous articles. For more information, go to the "Search box" in the upper right hand side of this page and type in "Tribulation" and several articles will appear that you may chose from to read. There are also videos on those links. Also, do the same with the word "Rapture" for more information on that subject...... a sure return of the Lord Jesus Christ which is very imminent. It will happen soon, according to the way Bible prophecy is being fulfilled , or the precursors are here leading up to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
If the Rapture happened today, would you be ready?
The only way to be ready is to be a born again believer in the Savior, Jesus Christ.
Not only are we living in the last moments of the end times, but none of us know the day we might die. Other than the promises and prophecies of the Bible, we do not know what tomorrow might bring so far as our living or dying is concerned. That is, we do not know the timing of our death; but if we are true believers in the saving power of Jesus Christ, we know we will go to be with the good Lord the moment we die.
"We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." - 2 Corinthians 5:8
"Every day you are alive is a special occasion." - Charles Swindoll
Celebrate life!
Live life to the full!
Live to obey Yahweh !
Share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with lost souls !
Following is a 38 minute sermon by Charles R. Swindoll titled: "You Do Not Know What Tomorrow Will Bring." It is a sobering sermon and makes us realize what truly matters in this life.
In the above sermon, Swindoll tells us to "Respect our Lord's will, as this will guard you from pride." Pride is a sin that God hates!
Charles Swindoll also mentions what James 4:13-14 has to say about making plans for tomorrow:
(13) "Go to now, ye that say, today or tomorrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: (14) Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow: for what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."
As one commentator says, "Our lives....are not substantial. .... they are like an early morning mist that soon clears away. (Hosea 13:3). For life is brief,, and in the midst of life we are in death. ...... It is in this light that [people] should determine what they (or rather, God) consider to be important. And if they truly recognize that their lives might disintegrate like a puff of smoke
at any moment, they will undoubtedly put more consideration into looking at the things that are unseen, and building up treasure in Heaven (Matthew 6:19-21). "
"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18

Wake up! Jesus could return at any moment. Nothing needs to be fulfilled from the Bible for His return. We are living in the last days, friends.
The apostle Peter tells us at 2 Peter 3:11, concerning the end times, "Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness."
Do the following if you are not saved:
Turn to the good Lord now in faith and repentance and acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of a Savior.
Believe that Jesus is the Savior and the only way of salvation and surrender your life to Him.
Call on the Lord in faith and confess your sins and commit your life to Him.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by Me." - John 14:6
"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." - John 3:3
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." - John 3:16

"The people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits." - Daniel 11:32b
I often stress that we need to draw close to God, by prayer and by reading His Holy Word - spending much time in His presence. Many professing Christians never read their Bibles, except for the times they attend Church services. God wants to fellowship with us !! We are able to fellowship with Him by much prayer and much Bible reading and studying. When we read the Bible, we can see the characteristics of God, the attributes that verify that God is love and that He loves you beyond all that you can imagine. He even sent His beloved Son to bleed and die in your place, so that all who believe in Jesus may have eternal life. But back to having a relationship with God - a close, personal, intimate, love relationship with the Father through Jesus Christ - in order to draw close to God so that He will draw close to you, you need to be always in prayer and always in His Holy Word. It means life itself - and life eternal in Heaven. As Charles Spurgeon says, "to know God is the highest and best form of knowledge."
Following is a lengthy devotion by Charles Spurgeon, of which I will quote the majority of it.
"Every believer understands that to know God is the highest and best form of knowledge; and this spiritual knowledge is a source of strength to the Christian. It strengthens his faith. ....... It is the Spirit's peculiar office to lead them [Christians] into all truth, and all this for the increase and the fostering of their faith.
Knowledge strengthens love....... Knowledge opens the door, and then through that door we see our Savior. Or, to use another similitude, knowledge paints the portrait of Jesus, and when we see that portrait then we love Him; we cannot love a Christ whom we do not know, at least, in some degree. If we know but little of the excellencies of Jesus, what He has done for us, and what He is doing now, we cannot love Him much; but the more we know Him, the more we shall love Him."
Spurgeon goes on to tell us that "knowledge also strengthens hope......knowledge supplies us reasons for patience. How shall we have patience unless we know something of the sympathy of Christ, and understand the good which is to come out of the correction which our heavenly Father sends us? Nor is there one single grace of the Christian which, under God, will not be fostered and brought to perfection by holy knowledge. How important, then, is it that we should grow not only in grace, but in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
"He who prays as he ought will endeavor to live as he prays." - Owens

"The greatest tragedy of life is not unanswered prayer, but unoffered prayer." - F.B. Meyer
"Jesus was God spelling Himself out in language humanity could understand." - S.D. Gordon
"IF you have a Bible that's falling apart, you'll have a life that's not." - Adrian Rogers
"Jesus gives us real eyes so we can realize where the real lies." - Michael McInerny
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." - Romans 15:13 , ESV
"Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, " - Ephesians 3:20, KJV
"And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap if we faint not." - Galatians 6:9. KJV
I hope you enjoyed and were uplifted and inspired by the above Christian quotes and Scriptures. Especially the Scriptures, which should be our main source of inspiration. There is nothing more soothing and encouraging than to read the Bible daily. But that also applies to being on your knees in prayer to the good Lord.
Following is a 29 minute video on the Rapture of true believers by Prophecy Watchers with host Gary Stearman interviewing author and scholar Ken Johnson. Mr. Johnson goes deep into ancient sources for his books, and informs us in this recent video that the ancient prophets believed in the Rapture.
If the rapture happens today, will you be ready?
To be ready you need to be a born again believer in the Savior Jesus Christ.
(13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." - John 14:6
"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. Believest thou this?" - John 11:25-26
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - Jesus at John 3:16
Jesus loves you !
He will welcome you with open arms of love and forgiveness!
Believe on Him !
Surrender your life to Him!
Life is full of choices. Don't make the wrong choice by denying Jesus. He died a horrible, cruel death, and took on the sins of the world- and of you - so that He took your place on the cross so that you may have eternal life if you but believe in Him.
What love !
Have a blessed and Christ centered weekend.... and life !
When I think of fishermen, I am reminded of the apostles; some of which had been fishermen. Jesus told them He would make them "Fishers of men." (Matthew 4:19).
All true born again believers should be on fire by sharing the Gospel with lost souls, especially since we are so far into the very last moments of the end times; we are soon expecting Jesus to rapture His Bride (the Church) to be with Him forever; to be caught up with Him away from this wicked and perverse world.
On a recent video I watched, a preacher said, to the effect, that he was no longer looking for "signs" of the end times...... he was instead listening for the trumpet to sound; the trump of God. He believes Jesus' return and the Rapture is that close and I agree with him.
"For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:" - 1 Thessalonians 4:16
"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. " - 1 Corinthians 15:52
As you know, the above verses are referring to the Rapture of the Church, true believers in Jesus Christ. I should include 1 Thessalonians 4:17 which says:
"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
What a glorious hope and promise!!
"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;" - Titus 2:13
This "trump of God" is not referring to the 7 trumpets of Revelation. Both 1 Corinthians and 1 Thessalonians were written long before John wrote the book of Revelation, so the readers of Paul's Epistles would have no idea about the 7 trumpets of Revelation. Paul's writings were in reference to the Church and the end of the Church age at the Rapture of true believers. Those trumpets in the book of Revelation were angelic trumpets, while the trumpet that sounds at the Rapture is definitely called "The trump of God."
Following is a short 12 minute video by Chad, Watchman on the wall 88. He is young but very thorough in his information on the end times and I believe he is definitely led by the Holy Spirit. Please watch
In Chad's video posted May 21, 2019, he talks about Isaiah 17 and Ezekiel 38 and 39, just like I did in my post a few days ago. (Scroll down one post right before this one.) He also talks about a recent Yahoo news article about a possible Middle East war that could go nuclear.
Don't panic and grow anxious about all this information and the current chaos in the world. You have nothing to fear if you are a true born again believer in the Savior, Jesus Christ.
"Though I walk in the midst of trouble, Thou wilt revive me; Thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and Thy right hand shall save me." - Psalm 138:7
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee." - Isaiah 26:3
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." - Jesus at John 14:27
I am moved to share another video about the Rapture of the Church that was just posted May 22, 2019, by prophecywatchers.com
In this video host Gary Stearman discusses with Pastor Jack Langford the possibility of the Rapture occuring on Pentecost, which is June 9 of this year. They are quick to tell us that they are not saying it will happen for sure then, because the Bible tells us we do not know the day or the hour of Jesus' return for us. At any rate, there is a lot of interesting and pertinent information in this 29 minute video which follows:
Although I may not always agree with everything in some of these videos, (many of which I will never post here), many do have valuable information that deserves to be shared, for everyone's benefit. You can learn from them, like in this recent video above Pastor Langford discusses the various Jewish feasts and harvests that is quite interesting.
It is obvious that I have the Rapture on my mind a lot as of late. I feel compelled to share any and all information I can find on this subject, this blessed hope that we have (Titus 2:13). It is important that we be alert and watchful, and share the gospel with everyone, as the time is short.
"Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts; for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh." - James 5:8
Believers need to be in God's Holy Word daily, and to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). It is so true that to be able to truly know a person, you must communicate frequently with him. The same is true of Yahweh. You need to pray frequently and to pour your heart out to the good Lord. By reading the Bible daily you learn of God's attributes, the love of Him and of the Savior. And in return, by prayer and by spending much time in God's Word, you learn to love the Lord more and more, and you will draw ever closer to Him. All of which means that you have a close, intimate, personal love relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. Such a close relationship will give you peace and endurance and a great faith.
Be about the Lord's work while you wait for His soon return.
If you are not a born again believer in Jesus as the Savior, you need to turn to Him in faith NOW before it is too late. You do not want to be left behind for the horrors of the 7 year Tribulation. It will be much more difficult to be saved during that time of God's wrath.
Romans 10: 9,10,13 tells us: (9) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." - John 14:6
Admit that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior.
Believe in Jesus and His redemptive power by His shed blood at Calvary..... that He can wash your sins away and that you will be white as snow.
Call on the Lord. Confess your sins. Commit your life to Him.
He will welcome you with arms wide open and full of love and forgiveness.
Jesus loves you!
Have a blessed and Christ centered weekend ..... and life !!
